Complaint Review: Bernard Haldane Associates

Initial meeting - I was impressed. Very professional front secretary. Vice President "Brian" appeared legitimate. First intervew lasted 28 minutes because I didn't talk much. Offered a return "interview" with two pages of homework. I expressed concern about fees . . . Brian said it was "no concern of mine". I balked . . . saying funds were tight for me after my divorce. He again said "not to worry". Excited about second interview. Lasted 2 hours 20 minutes. Briefed on result of tests I took at first interview. Brian said I could become a CEO of a major airline! I was excited! Preparing to sign contract, he suddenly flipped over the sheet requiring $5000.00 in cash or AMEX/VISA/MasterCard! I reminded him of my poor credit condition presently. He asked if I had friends who would help me! I asked if Haldane would help. His response . . . Haldane is not in the business of loaning money. I should have responded, "Yea, you just take money!" Wish I would have reviewed this web site first before getting my hopes up! Live and learn. Avoid Bernard Haldane Associates unless you are rich and have plenty of money to burn!
