Having been through the first interview with Stephen Fischer at the Toronto office, it certainly is scary to now read the comments on this site about other experiences.

Here are some things to beware of, because they play to your vulnerabilities:

1) You don't elect to buy their service. They "accept" you. -- Not likely, they need business just like everyone else.

2) Bring your wife/husband -- They can work over both of you to control the decision makeing process. They will probably leave you in the room alone to think it over. Do yourself a favour, go home and think of all the things that $5000 could do for you somewhere else.

3) They give you the take-home personality/skills test -- serves to get a little bit of commitment on your behalf. It psychologically commits you to the process.

4) They identify "marketable skills"

The list goes on...just be prepared, and don't commit or give ANY kind of deposit until you are sure of your decision. And, if you still think you might benefit, read the National Post story.
