Dear Robin:

Thank you for taking the time to talk with me this
morning. I really enjoyed our meeting, and am
encouraged to learn that you, without knowing anything
about me or reading my resume, were able to set a
target compensation for me of $175,000.

Your ability to identify talent is truly impressive, as you were able to tell that even though I have no
managementexperience, that I would be able to handle
the job of VP if IT at a large firm.

Under the same vein, I was wondering if you had next week's lottery numbers. Butalas, my dear friend, I did this afternoon, what I should've done yesterday, which was to look up your
organization on the Internet.

I was impressed to learn that there are 46 states that the state Attorney General is not currently investigating your company.
By only facing charges in four states your company is
significantly better than Microsoft!

Now that I have done my due diligence, I can tell you that I will not be attending our scheduled meeting on the 22nd of this
month.

As attending the meeting this morning was my mistake, I am waiving my normal hourly fee of $300. However, should you desire help with your pitch to avoid these types of problems in the future, I will be glad to work with you for the hourly rate of $300. During these sessions, I will teach you how to make
sales pitches without setting off the bull detector
in your client! Imagine all of the extra revenue that
you will be able to pull in with these lessons.

Thanks again for your time this morning, and I look forward to taking your money, I mean advising you, in the future.

I remain, sincerely yours,
