Unhappy with my employment situation, I signed up with BH in the Winter of 98 for a total fee of $3,750.00. I was impressed with the initial program and all seemed above board and professional. I attended all suggested seminars and carrer development sessions. My interest and focus was a career area that I had been out of for several years, they pumped me up and more than implied that I would find a position in this area. . After developing my marketing program and brochure, I set out using the techniques taught by BH. After numerious interview requests were turned down and the many informational interviews came to nothing, I determined that I no longer has the experience and education required for this field.
I informmed my career counselor of this and I was told to plug on. My original counselor transfered to Arizona, and then left BH. My second counselor also avoided the issue and suggested that I continue in this area. As it turned out I was down sized and was not in the best position for a job search. My counselor suggested that I develope a standard RESUME???. Needlless to say I did not develope a position in the "hidden job market"
I came to the conclusion on my own that a career change was in order and I have obtained employment through conventional methods and am now attending college for my BSN in nursing.
I also discovered that many of the techniques that BH claims to be their own unique programs are common knowledge. My question after all this; has anyone received a refund from BH and how did your go about it?
Thanks,
