Could all these people be lying? Bernard Haldane or lawyer tries to retract Rip-off Report ..or victim was paid off?

About two weeks ago badbusinessbureau.com was contacted by the alleged victim who filed a Rip-off Report. The victim said they worked out their differences with Bernard Haldane LHD Enterprises and would like to remove their Rip-off Report.

One of our consumer advocate volunteers called them back. The phone number was to a law firm. This person tried to tell us, they were the victim. They did not sound legit.

We explained to this person (who was acting like they were the one who filed the Rip-off Report), as it does on the Rip-off Report home page, in the very first paragraph, it states the following:

Unlike the Better Business Bureau, the bad business bureau's Rip Off Report does not hide stories of "satisfied" complaints. All complaints remain public to create a working history for that company, unedited.

We told them they could go to their Rip-off Report and file an UPDATE or go to the REBUTTAL under their Rip-off Report and file a retraction. Not to file another report.

We also explained that badbusinessbureau.com has been offered once $50,000 to remove a Rip-off Report, $25,000 four times, $5,000 more than 20 times to remove Rip-off Reports. If we did accept money, badbusinessbureau.com would be no better than the Better Business Bureau who hides ALL actual filed complaints to the consumer.

The person who claimed they made the report got very nasty. WE felt this was not the person who actually filed the Rip-off Report. If this was the person, we feel they were paid off in some way or was being threatened.

If the problem was rectified, again we explained that they should go to their Rip-off Report and file an UPDATE using their password? . But they could not provide us with proper information, they were nasty. It was obviously that they were not the person who filed the Rip-off Report or they were being paid a good sum of money to remove the Rip-off Report. The phone number we call them at was listed to a law firm.

Read below the NEW Rip-off Report they tried to file, then see our additional notes below and also see the list of the Rip-off Reports filed against the company.

The consumer tried to file the following Rip-off Report below:

Bernard Haldane and I have resolved my dispute. It embarrasses me to inform you that I have never worked in any of the offices I mentioned in my report. I was trying to get back at Haldane for something I perceived they did to me. Obviously, as I said at the end of my message, I was having an employment dispute -- and I overreacted and exaggerated because I did not get what I wanted and what I thought was fair. I have personally witnessed the Haldane system work for many, many clients and I have received numerous thank you letters from clients whom I have helped. You should also know that I was not an elite client advisor and always felt I should have been. I was really trying to get in a stab at the elite client program, a program that does work for senior level clients. I have seen LHD employees work very hard for their clients and use their contacts to make introductions for their clients. What I'm saying is that Haldane cares about providing quality service and have all kinds of checks and balances to be sure that their clients are effectively assisted. We've all been around the block enough to know that we sometimes say things in anger and regret them later. This is one I really regret. You should also be aware that because I said some untrue things, I asked this website (ripoffreports/badbusinessbureau) to pull my posting all together. They refused and got nasty with us when we asked them to pull it. We asked what needed to be done to correct my wrong. The alleged owner of the site told us there was absolutely nothing we could do and no one, not even a court of law, could make him do anything. He said all we could do was post this update. He informed us that he was in the West Indies and no American court could order him to do anything. This website does not care who it hurts and I really wish I had never used it. Be careful when you post to this site. You may come to regret it as I have

EDITORS NOTE::::::::

The person twisted what we said to them. The person we talked with was definetly a lawyer.
An unprofessional lawyer, if they were one. The number we call them back at was a lawyers office.

They said they lied to get back at them?
Why should we believe them now? What a creative story!

Look at all the Rip-off Reports that were filed on them below. The links are there so you can check them all out.

I did tell them, whoever we were talking with, if they need to, just say you lied. I advised them, I will be mentioning this conversation on the report.

They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report:

Their email: dsVictim@RipoffReport.com
Their name: D S

Their relationship to the company: Victim

Rebuttal:

I have been in Arlington, VA office and met with one of their people. Fortunately for me, it was a contract with the Veteran's Administration.

I really got the feeling that the woman that sent me there from the VA got some kind of kick back for sending the business. This is important because of the long-standing Haldane association with the government.

Someone really needs to look at the way contracting is done for an with Haldane.

Anyway, at Haldane, they did tweak my resume and we played psych games, but the real value was never delivered. I never got access to their illusive database of jobs.

I was handed printouts of business which can be obtained from any Chamber of Commerce, but they did not provide "added
value" in their particular service.

They would always have an excuse like, the system was down, or "Princeton hasn't gotten back to us yet."

I believe it is way overpriced for no guarantee. I'm just glad they did not get me, but the did get the U.S. Government. Hey, tax payers, you paid for me to get ripped off.

My brother-in-law in Phoenix, Arizona went to them and they did a headjob on him. They made him believe they were his only opportunity to get paid what he was worth. They have high-pressure, used car sales tactics including trying to put it on a credit plan.

Fortunately, I was able to talk him out of it after I showed him what I got and how it wasn't worth it. The clincher was when I asked him is he was willing to go to court to force them to turn over access to their database and never get a product of value anyway?

I would tell the disgruntled employee(?) that you should plan out how to cover your short hairs before engaging in a hair pulling contest with your boss.
