Bernard Haldane Rip-off Big scam Edmonton Alberta
I was contacted by Bernard Haldane originally via a form letter saying I was eligible for a free career counciling session. I filled in a brief form on www.jobhunting.com and was contacted shortly after by a woman in Edmonton wanting to set up a "session" or "interview". I thought the whole thing was suspect but a good way to kill a morning.
I met with a man named Greg Molnar who went through the exact same routine that everyone on this site talks about. 97% success rate. They only take people that they know they can place. They've got over a hundred offices.
A few things raised red flags for me. When asked, what percentage of your customers are repeat customers I through him off. He said none. I said, if you are so good at boosting peoples careers why don't they come back when it's time to find their next job. He said "Well they've learned the process by then"
I have yet to say yes or no to this Gentleman...I plan to bring my girlfriend in and waste some more of their time before beraiding them and their practices. I will also be contacting every newspaper and tv station in the area as well as CBC's marketplace.
This is clearly a scam.
