I paid $6,500 + new cloths ($1,000 +) and have not had a single job interview or reasonable lead from Bernard Haldane. I was told over and over that I needed to do more homework, use the web tools, and ... I was told that my old resume was like a cascet, just talking about the past. When I have presented the Haldane version, I was told that it was insufficient, and raised more questions. The literature and binder I was given contains documentation you can get free on the internet, and yet, I was told that it was created by Haldane for Me. After many months of meeting with my rep., and still not getting a single interview, I do feel Ripped-Off. After reading how other people feel, I now am considering much stronger action. I still need a job - not a career, and Haldane does not seem like the place to spend any more time with. Bob Petaluma, California

An Offer For Some Of My Money Back

#20

Tue, September 10, 2002

I recently received a settlement offer for less than half the money I paid. There were a couple of interesting facts: 1) Did you know that you are charged $150/hour to meet with your contact, 2) That if you miss a meeting - you are charged (they don't compensate you for their being late), 3) Dr. Bernard Haldane gets a peice, and it goes on.

I sent them a document that detailed all of the meetings, the time I had spent, the added money for cloths, etc, and it seems like that got them to move - a little.

Others have mentioned contacting local and state authorities, and I agree. Others have said you should contact the media - and I agree. BUT, the most important thing you can do is document, and ask for copies of the encounter reports that your contact is filling out - so that your feelings are being properly repersented.

Bob
