Complaint Review: Bert and Susan Sideroff

So back in May I heard through the grapevine that they were renting a home. Thus I asked about it, they pointed me to a different home they had available which I was fine with. Paid the money and signed the lease, lease was supposed to start once an the repairs were made to the apartment. They then proceed to twiddle their thumbs and take their time in the repairs. Almost two months and still didn't get done, and mind you I offered to help and even offered to hire folk myself to get it done. They refused. All this with them know fun well that me getting moved in meant me getting full custody of my kid. Wondering what my options are I inquire in social media in what my next legal steps should be. They catch when and call it off. After some bickering and highly unprofessional behavior they finally give me my money back.
