I am currently deployed in Afghanistan (at least at the time writing this 2013) and while deployed I am also trying to fund a small business my father and I are trying to start. We are very new to this and yes we are going to encounter requirements we didn't know existed. For instance I spent over 2 weeks creating a shopping cart on best blanks geting various different start up stock items and equipment. Keep in mind YOU CAN NOT SAVE YOUR SHOPPING CART unless you plan to work on that computer solely but if you have to switch then all your work is gone. I copying my shopping cart to excel. I amounted a order that was 7,700 and I created my shopping cart line by line with the page constantly refreshing after EVERY Single entry (Website sucks for bulk order, makes my  eyes bleed). This was managable though, then I found out no electronic checks which in their defense is clearly stated in small red text on the top of your shopping cart. 

 

TO get my order I then called my bank to increase my debit card limit to 5,000 and I was going to do my order in two parts. I did this on 10 11 2013, I put in a order I needed for 4,992. I was thinking Yes good job Chris you are going to meet your deadlines. NOPE!!! While I was sleeping I was sent forms that I had to fill out for the charge, they locked the pdf so you cannot fill it out digitally. So in a warzone I had to go to offices with a printer (not hard) and a scanner (f**kING IMPOSSIBLE). FUN FACT Military doesn't like people scanning in documents because that person could be uploading secret information. Needless to say I was able to accomplish this and had to send in a copy of my card front and back with photo id. YAY I am done right?? NOPE they work on the weekends which I guess bad luck on my part. so my order is now delayed by 2 days no big deal. I called them up and spoke with leonardo who was very nice and asured it would be processed.

Well I guess Jim the manager heard the issues I was having and wanted to help. I understand his intent but I have already wasted to many days to delay my order again. Jim stopped the process and said we should do a bank wire transfer for my orginally order of 7700. I was thinking ok maybe that work, but I later found out that bank wire transfers require me to at the bank personally. BTW keep in mind in Afghan soldiers are sleeping while America is up, so these conversations have to day to get a response.

 

I was so heated that he suggest a method that was impossible for me knowing I am in afghan. So I canceled my order. Took my excel spreadsheet and called up Conde.com. I spoke with alicia told her my horror story that I have been trying to get my oder processed for about 5 days. 

 

Conde.com took my spreadsheet, created my order and billed me in less then 1 hour. We had to do a two part payment that they were fine with (they split the invoice). 

CAME IN 700$ cheaper that was including shipping!!!

This person never placed an order with our company. It is unfortunate they continue to try and slander our good name. We have been in business over thirteen years and have serviced tens of thousands of satisfied customers around the world. Like any successful company there will always be some you can never satisfy not matter what. It is just an unfortunate fact when you have serviced many customers over a long period of time. We strive to provide the highest level of service to all customers no matter where they are located.

As stated in our earlier response, our website clearly states our payment terms for placing orders if located outside the US. However, they refused to follow those simple instructions and insisted on payment terms that were not acceptable to us. It is unfortunate we were not able to satisfy this person and turn them into a customer.

Best Blanks loves to refer their testimonies on their web page and almost comes off as attacking anyone who finds flaws with their service.

Too Many Red Flags With Order – Possible Fraud

It is unfortunate this person does not understand that US companies are required to comply with the Patriot Act and Credit Card Fraud/Banking polices. Regardless what other companies are willing to do, that is up to them. We choose to operate within the law and the credit card rules to avoid fraudulent credit card transactions.

Our website clearly explains how to place an order of this size from outside the US. This person did not contact us prior to placing this order (as we recommend). If they had contacted us it would have been very easy (like they admit doing when they switched to a different supplier). Although we went to great lengths to help this person it is clear that they did not want to work within the framework we have in place to insure we can service them properly.

We have thousands of customers around the world who are very satisfied with our services and products. We hope readers understand our position and can appreciate that while anyone can complain on these types of websites it does not make them right. We urge readers to visit our website and see real customer reviews from more than 4500+ legitimate customers who have provided feedback on our company. We work very hard to maintain our good name and long standing reputation and we will vigorously defend it. We’re sorry we were not able to satisfy this potential customer.
