I purchased a memory module from the best buy store here in Ann Arbor. It was a 128 megabyte pny memory stick ofr 30.00 and it had a 20.00 mail in rebate.

I sent in all the required information and waited 12 weeks for the rebate. $ weeks past the time they said it would take.

I contacted Best Buy at their website and they responded that they would send me a gift card for the 20.00. I do not want the gift card I want my money so I can use it where and on what I want. Not just in their store, which i may not return to.

I havwe tried all of the phone numbers to get help with this and I have gotten no where.

All I want is the rebate I am entitled to.

How to resolve this.

I had the a similar problem. I simply went to the store and said that I would not leave until I recieved my money. I also threatened to post the personal phone numbers of the CEO Bradbury H. Anderson and the CFO Darren R. Jackson, both residents of Minnesota. Best Buy gladly refunded my money. It is annoying to have to go to such measures just to get a response. If you are resourceful you can make the same threat I did.

Good Luck.
