I'm new to this and I don't need any help with best buy & any or all of its associates; however, I want this to be known and I do want to see them go out of business so here is my experiances:

1) I had a $601 credit card limit, it was their card, it got stolen, over $530 worth of stuff bought within an hour of the theft. Whitehall cops, yeah, let's just say that (and I don't care if I get in trouble) they obviously have better things to do then their jobs i.e. sucking each other off or eating doughnuts or whatever the hell they do except their jobs.

Anyways Best Buy had red flags that my card was being used fraudulently, according to the head of security of the store. BUT the moron parkland B*tch cashier who should have called her supervisor, but didn't; anyways he had a report written and she got in trouble, he was reviewing the 'case' after several calls to corp. about the bill. Corp. gave me a hassel even though I have a police report timestamped within the hour of the misuse!
Finally didn't have to pay for anything, thank god.

**DISCLAIMER- I have no intent to harm anyone with what I am about to say.

2) I am a Computer Forensics student almost out and doing a security sweep in my area and to my surprize;
BEST BUY DOES NOT SECURE THEIR WIRELESS NETWORK!!
I found "floating" in the air, customers creditcard #s in plain text. What this means: anyone who has the capacity to do AND the intent to do it CAN take your credit card # and use it, just because they don't really know computers.

The geek squad I think not. I DO NOT HAVE nor want to have these #s; I want people to know that Best Buy can NOT be trusted. No, I did not tell best buy, nor will I. I don't care about them, they screwed up and now I have unleashed a dark secret and they deserve it; it is charma. Yes it would be ethical for me to inform them, but they made more then 1 mistake with me, and I vow that their business will suffer by me informing others of their bad business.

The theft was two maybe three years ago, and the LEGAL sweep of the wireless networks was spring/summer 2005; As far as I know it is still correct.
