BEST BUY BEST BUY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR PRODUCT WARRENTIES Tampa Florida

I purchased a brand new Sony about 4 months ago.  smart HD television in December and have had endless problems with constant failures to perform its WI-Fi capabilities. At first I had Sony customer support involved but as time progressed it became apparant that the problem had not been corrected and kept reappearing.

I know for fact that the problem was in the new TV itself and NOT a router problem - as I could always get another Sony TV to perform perfectly with streaming video - and both TVs were less tha 20 feet apart and both receiving a proper strength quality wireless signal.  One worked perfectly - while the one in question fauiled completely.

 

The set is of course under full i year factory warrenty.  I finally decided to get some help from the company I purchased it from which was Best Buy. I have been trying for weeks now to get a technition to my home to take care of their responsibilities. The people in their support group have been insolent impolite and just plain rude!

They will not return calls - put you on long wait times ( a half hour or more)  I was cut off in phone conversations THREE TIME in one afternoon. By their own admission - theyhad my phone number but would noy even bother - as common courtesy - to return the failed call.

Their so called geek squad - should be called the FREAK SQUAD for their arrogance and egotistic attitudes. they go out of their way to make the customer feel like he is a nuisance for taking up their time. The last call put me onhold for half an hour so I opted for their offer to leave my phone mumber (AGAIN) and have them phone me when they had a customer support personavailable.

The in fact did call back after about hlf an hour - but no person was on the line - just more endless recorded messages about how great Best Buy was. After nearly ten minutes of this nonsense all OVER AGAIN - I justy hung up and waithed for them to have a REAL HUMAN BEING return my call. I waited all afternoon - but no call.

It is obvious that these people are fruads and have no itention of fixing my TV ( which is now essentially useless - as the ONLY thing I use it for was for WI_FI entertainment. I have had ony about a dozen actual hours of actual service from it since I bought it.  So now it sits as useless as a 50 lb paperweight. 

You would think that a company as large oand prominent as Best Buy would conduct themselves as ethical civilized busniess people instead of frauds and cheats. Shame on them for treating honest people so badly and dishonestly. Can you plese help

 If you needed to redeem a manufacturers warranty you MUST go through the company that MADE IT!!! Trying to have Best Buy take care of your issue four months after the purchase is YOU being lazy. You have a clear case to redeem the manufacturers warranty but YOU have to do it. Blaming Best Buy only shows that YOU are ignorant and should probably stay off the web until you learn how to NOT defame a innocent party.
