Best Buy Digital ripoff misrepresented product, Sold cheaper Overseas model that wouldn't work & Over Priced camera and accessories, tried to add $50 insurance fee, Brooklyn, New York

Ordered a Sony Model DSC P5 digital camera from this company, called to confirm order, received by an extremely push sales person who convinced me to order the accessory kit and told me there would be an extra $50 added to shipping for insurance reasons...which I knew was a hoax and told him I would go somewhere else, so he immediately said never mind, we'll pay for it. He would have pocketed that money, the insurance is already covered in the $30 I was already paying to have it shipped.

Long story to short, they sent me a cheaper version of the Sony camera I ordered, a Japanese version that is not even compatible with my computer, so I couldn't even down load the software, they charged me $140 for about 50 to 60 dollars worth of accessories and the sales person...Charles, yelled at me when I told him I wanted to return the camera..

I had already tried to return the accessories and he talked me out of that, saying he would send an extra memory stick to me, then I find out the camera doesn't even work and when he was very rude and I explained that I would be reporting the company...he yelled at me and threatend me that he would not give me a RTA# unless I told him who I would be reporting to. I told him he had to give me a number and finally he yelled it at me as loud as he could.

This has got to be one of the worst sales experience I have ever been a part of. I hope to warn off future consumers before they are bought in as well.
