Purchased Item# 5496110 Platinum Briefcase 6/6/2017. Lasted about 4 months before tearing where should strap attaches to bag. Bag is made of Ballistic Nylon.  Talked on the telephone with customer service who said they do not cover products after 14 days and that I would have to go to the manufacturer of the product. They said they did not know the name of the manufacturer.  However, when you look up the UPC# 600603207891 it says Best Buy C is the manufacturer.

Just how long in your opinion should they "stand behind" something they sell? 1 Month? What about 2 Months? What about 6 Months? Should they "stand behind" something they sell for 5 Years? If you say 6 Months, what happens at 6 Months and 2 days? At what point if this bag broke would you no longer expect Best Buy to allow you to return it with them? Or is this a case that they are responsible for it..forever?

Since you of course were proactive enough to keep the receipt, you kept all of the tags for the bag...right? Oh, let me guess you didn't as if you did you would have ALL of the information you needed for the manufacturer.

By the way that UPC and item shows up at Best Buy and several E-Bay stores.
