Best Buy Faulty Equipment and useless extended warranties Kennesaw Georgia

I purchased a 55" Hitachi Plasma Flat Panel TV from Best Buy along with an extended warranty. 2 months ago the tv decided it would only come on when it wanted to. Since then I have had two missed service appointments from the Geek Squad. The only explanitation for this is Sorry. I finally get someone out on 11/4/2008, so they can say yeap its broke and we need to order parts. I was then told I would hear from someone in three days. Week later I call up the 1-888 number. Only to be told the parts came in a week ago and they need to schedule an appointment. Earliest date is next week.

With the no-shows and total lack of concern from personnel in the store or the Geek Squad I will be suprised if the tv ever gets fixed. I went into the store demanding my money back and a refund on the extended warranty only to be told they don't do that.

I amazed in today's economy a company would sell faulty equipment and not live up to their end of the bargain. I definetly learned my lesson, I will never purchase another product from Best Buy again. I am out almost $5,000.00 from this company.
