In Sept 2017 I purchased a tablet from Best Buy. At the same time I purchased an anti-virus program. All with the help of a Best Buy employee. At no time did I sign up for any store program. I got home and tried to install the anti-virus program and it wouldn't work. I tried calling Best Buy for help and they told me that the anti-virus program may not work on a tablet and that I should call the program office or the tablet maker. I never received any help from anyone.

In March 2018 I received an e-mail saying that my credit card was charged a $49.99 fee for a virus program renewal. Why were they renewing an annual charge 6 months EARLY? I never signed anything saying I wanted any automatic renewal of any kind. I never signed up as a Best Buy Geek Squad "customer". I never consented for Best Buy to keep or use my credit information.

I did call and get the charge reversed, but is this going to happen again in Sept? Or next year? And what a about my credit info - is it safe??? Probably not...
