This Monday 12/02/13 I ordered an IPod Touch for my son's birthday party on 12/08/13. I paid for expedited shipping and was assured this would be here no later than Thursday 12/05/13. Best Buy sent an e-mail to me on Tuesday 12/03/13 saying item was "shipped". I checked the tracking number through the UPS site and guess what? Here's what the UPS site is showing the status of the order -A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated. The order is not shipped. It's sitting in one of your warehouses somewhere as of today 12/04/13.

They Said They Could Do it and they Didn't

If they couldn't do it in the timeframe I needed it, they should have told me that instead of saying yes to everything. I don't need your advice on what to do. I'm going to Radio Shack and picking one up and getting refunded for everything from Best Buy after I return it to them.
Yes, it was "Cyber Monday". If they can't handle the order no matter if it's Cyber Monday or St Crispin's day, they need to let their customers (victims) know!

So basically youre mad because they havent shipped your item in the timeframe you have requested. Did you forget that 12/2/13 was "Cybermonday"? Which means that yes you paid for shipping but they are really backed up this time of year. Lots of people did as you did. Instead of going to the store and getting their purchase, they went online. And then they have the nerve to be upset about it. This is what we call the consiquences of your actions. Sure you can rant all you like but the reality is that YOU CHOSE TO ORDER IT ONLINE DURING THEIR BUSIEST TIME. Best thing you can do is call customer support and have the expidited shipping fee removed.
