Best Buy Rip-off Paid for merchandise online never received long hassle to get refund Minneapolis Minnesota

Ordered and paid for a cd from best buy online (bestbuy.com) on Feb. 8th 2003. Paid extra for 2 day shipping. After 4 days had passed, called best buy. They referred me to ups, who said package could not be found. Called best buy back, they said I must wait 8 more days before they could do anything about it. Keep in mind they have my money.

They did, however, offer to send me another cd out - AT MY COST - do they think I am an idot?? So, I wait the 8 days and in the meantime ups calls back to say the package investigation is over and it is back in bust buys hands. I call again and to no avail they tell me I must wait another 8 days. By this time I have had it. I then talk to a representitive who says he is the head supervisor and he tells me that to get my money back they must investigate it and send me a form to sign. Again he refuses to just resend me the cd I had ordered and informs me that "it is just their policy" that I must re-order and re-pay to get the cd. Again, keep in mind they still have my money.

Finally after serveral more phone calls, and thirty days after the original order, I get an email saying they are finally going to credit me. The clincher is now they say they are not going to refund the 2 day shipping fee!! WHAT!!!!!! This is an outrage. I have done thousands of dollars in business over the internet and have never had such a bad experience. Obviously, I will never do business with best buy.com or best buy in general. Buyers beware!!
