Complaint Review: Best Buy

Best Buy ripoff! Wouldn't fix my computer that was under warranty. Nashua New Hampshire

Computer wasn't working, brought it back to Best Buy. Told me I need the Norton Antivirus system, which I already had. Told me the one I had wasn't sufficient and sold me the upgraded one for $89.98.

Computer still didn't work as I had the Blaster Worm on it. Gave me a new Hard Drive, but come to find out because it was under warranty, they gave me the same one back with the Blaster Worm still on it. Had to call a private company to come fix the computer at $25.00 per hour.

Read the information that came with your computer. It is your responsibility to protect your computer from viruses, and to understand how to use your computer properly so as to prevent software issues. Just because the store refused to correct something that they did not legally have to under warranty, does NOT mean that you were ripped off!
