then he told me that today was busy and to come back in 4th day and i came back when came back one of the mechanie told me that to install it its would cost me .

And i told the mechanie that the sale asoicate told me it was free .

So i was basically given the wrong informations and i couldn't return my cd player back at all. its already due for the due date.

They never told me what time by car will be done they never given me informations of anything at all.And iam very unhappy with their service

Sherylline,

Best Buy runs a "Free Installation" promotional quite frequently, however their ads DO change every Sunday. Best Buy also runs "Installed today or it's FREE" promotionals everyday. In other words, if you come in to get a car stereo installed, and they can't do it that day (within certain times, of course) it's ALSO free.

What is "FREE" is the basic installation fee; not the radio or the wire harness or the trim plates, or anything else, just the installation labor to do the job.

If you came in on Friday during a "FREE INSTALL on any car deck $99 and up" sales ad, and they couldn't install it Friday, you would not get something free twice. Make sense?

Now, same day, same event; If they can't get you in (or scheduled for an install appointment) until Monday (but, the sale is OFF Monday!), your installation would still be FREE, because you purchased the stereo back on Friday. Get it?

I have been known to give customers the benefit of the doubt on the Sunday after an ad change, because after all, it IS the weekend, right? If they're real disapointed because they were here last night and couldn't get helped, didn't have time, or just thought they'd do it tomorrow, I'm willing to stretch that sale out one more day. It's only good customer service, right?

Next time Sherylline, get EVERYTHING explained and buy the unit that day...we can do those free installs for up to a year after you purchase it!
