Best Buy toshiba I was another best buy rip off victims ripped off and scammed I'm left with a $3,000 boat anchor of a t.v. that shows triple images. Oxnard California
In November 2002 I bought a 65" Toshiba bigscreen t.v. from Best Buy. About three weeks of owning I noticed triple images and the touch focus no longer functioned. I called Toshiba and they sent a guy in December and he informed me that best buy damaged the t.v. in transport.
I contacted The Best Buy in Oxnard CA and they told me 30 days is up and smiled like they just scored a hoop in the playoffs. Toshiba says t.v. is ruined and can't be repaired. Best Buy says it's Toshiba's problem and Toshiba says it's Best Buy's.
I'm left with a $3,000 boat anchor of a t.v. that shows triple images.

If you watched the TV for three weeks with no problem, and all of a sudden you've got "triple images", then it needs to be dealt with through Toshiba; but I would still have Best Buy come and get the unit for service IF they delivered it...you never offered that they did.
So, unless you are covered by the Best Buy PSP, then it falls under the manufacturer's warranty.
