Best Buy Wrecked my Christmas! Sold gaming system with missing parts to Santa Claus who gave this gift to my child! Round Rock, Texas
Santa went to Best Buy before Christmas to purchase an xbox for my son. It was a bundle including 3 games. Christmas morning, the gift was opened and the 3 "included" games were not in the box.
Dec 26, Santa went to HARDLY BestBuy, and was told at the customer service counter, Sorry about your luck. Write the manufacturer.
SO, Santa spent another $70.00at (Hardly) Best Buyso the kids could play the Xbox.
Mrs. Claus would have bought the games somewhere ELSE!

After an hour on the phone, Best Buy offered to send us a giftcard to cover the purchase of three games. It was a sorry process, butthey have agreed to make it right.

Instead of whining about the problem, do something proactive.
Look at this forum thread from best Buy's own website:

After you read the thread, get your receipt ready and contact Best Buy.
Incidentally, Microsoft didn't have a holiday 2010 bundle with 3 free games. Their bundle came with 2 games. If there was indeed a third game then that would have been included by Best Buy.

Bestbuy didn't rip you off it was the manufacturer/X-box in China who ripped you. If you want to really narrow it down it was that little chinese kid making 10 cents a day stuffing game boxes who did it. The kid was probably day dreaming about playing games instead of being forced to support his/her family while stuffing your kids bundled x-box!

Real simple solution. Usea credit card for ALL purchases of electronics, or sensitive items, major appliances, valuables, etc. Then, you just dispute the charge!
Done!
FYI...Debit cards with a Visa or Mastercard branding offer the same protection as a credit card.
