Complaint Review: Best Choice Digital Camra Unlimited

I purchased a cannon EOS20D from Best Choice Digital in Feb 2005. On-line price wa $999. After buying got a call from vendor saying that was gray market, not in stock. Well they ended up convincing me to get US Warranty and it was in stock. This caused me $1460. I guess I was a chump!

The camera took over a month to arrive. It was billed to my American Express card immediately after I placed the call.

I love my camera and I thought my dealing with these crooks was over. Recently I was reviewing my American Express card on-line. I noticed a charge from Camera Unlimited LLC for $1460.

Afer thinking about it I see that these crooks have charge me twice for the same item! They waited 6 months and billed me a second time.

I reported this to my Credit Card which currently has an investigation. Today 8/17/05 WHen I got home UPS delivered several packages. WHen I started going through my deliveries I open a box that had a cheap (under $10 camera bag). When I looked at the shipping label to see where this came from it said Camera Unlimied LLC.

These people shipped me garbage so they could prove to the credit card that they did ship me the merchandise.

Be careful of these people. Don't trust them.

I cannot reach them by email or phone. No responses. I have exhausted all normal channels to resolve this ammicably. I hope my American Express will get me back my money!
