I'm the cousin to an 18 year old that was just in the presence of this horrifying and awful place. They are uterly and complete fraud. My cousin's parents and grandmother took him up to Manistee just a few days ago, hoping for the best and most definitely not expecting what was soon to come. They dropped my cousin off, he admitted himself in, and was on his way to what he thought was "recovery." Long and behold, it was NOT. They did not make him take an piercings out, or anything in the ordinary that NORMAL rehab facilities would make a patient do. This place is all scientology and nothing but a cult that is used for brainwashing and making the patients worse than they already are! What a disgust a disgrace to society. How could these people that work there call themselves "Doctors and Therapists," be so sick minded?!
My cousin saw not ONE counselor and/or therapist. He was in an awfully disgusting building with other addicts going through withdraws known as the detox buliding. He was not supervised or anything! What if something were to happen while he was going through withdraws? Are these people NUTS? I think so! After a few days of being there he still recieved know help but was very unaware of what this place was all about. He had not a single clue that my two aunts, his father, and my grandmother were back on there way to rescue him.
Once they arrived with the attorney generals and police, after a long battle of trying to get to speak to my cousin and get him out, it finally worked, AFTER the fact that my aunt, being a nurse practitioner with a REAL medical background, degree, and so forth, pulled up files and the BDR's medical license that was supposed to have a TEN digit code, but only had SIX! Obviously FAKE! Confronting them and proving them wrong, my aunt had finally gotten to rescue my cousin, as they said they did not want to have any "troubles." Thank the LORD.
My cousin is safe, he is back home now and will most definitely be looking for a real, safe, and amazing rehab facility. Good luck to those who have family members or friends in the BDR. Please, please, please, get them out of there any way that you can and as soon as possible. (identity kept secretive for safety purposes.)
