Best Drug Rehab Verified TRUSTED Business REVIEW: The staff at Best Drug Rehabilitation are dedicated to 100% customer satisfaction with clients. BDR will focus on key service points with clients to ensure their overall experience is a positive one.
My husband was in Best Drug Rehab. We spent between $18,000 and $20,000 dollars for him to go there. We were misled by the website. No mention of this being run by Church of Scientology. They promised healthy food. He ate lots of hot dogs. They violated his civil rights. He was allowed to go to a separate church at first. They did give him and some others a ride in a van to a Christian Church a few miles away, since my husband and some others are not interested in Scientology. One day my husband got mad at the bus driver who was texting and driving and told him off. At church, during service one of the "higher-ups" showed up, pulled on my husband's arm and said "lets go" and pulled him out of church. After this, The pastor of the church was not allowed to go up and visit the residents. This pastor is very nice and that is how my husband started going to the little church. It was a big part in his recovery. Another time, my husband was going to go to church and they told him he couldnt and he said he was going anyways. They then told him if he left they would call the police. He said he wasnt doing anything wrong and since he wasnt court ordered to be there, even the police wouldnt stop him. They said he didnt have his ID on him and the cops would arrest him for that. Being on parole, he was intimidated enough not to go. BDR had taken his ID from him upon entry in this program and WOULD NOT give it back. There was a lot of intimidation from some of the Security staff members who were with the NATION OF ISLAM. One in particular who wanted to fight my husband and would get in his face alot. He was treated like an inmate at a prison. He was forced to take weird Scientology courses. If he didnt they threatened to throw him out with only $10.00 and take him to the bus station, which is what they do if you are caught using drugs up there. When I went to pick him up after 3 months of rehab, I was just in the waiting area, when I was told by staff that I had to sign a confidentiality paper where I wouldnt speak out about them or report anything negative about them. I refused to sign!! I wonder if there is any legal recourse to get our money back? My husband had to sign the confidentiality clause to enter the program but his CIVIL LIBERTIES were violated!

I sent my daughter there in Jan of 2012 and I still cannot believe the conditions of what she went through. We got her out after 7 days. We had to pay 2300 to get her admited up front and they then billed my insurance for 1695 a day for 7 days. I questioned what they possibly did for her costing this amount the response this is a very high end facility...what a joke. We put it behind us and then a few months ago an "attorney" for them called us saying we needed to pay them another 10,000. We refused telling them that this place was a fraud and misrepresented themselves and we would counter sue if they did not leave us alone. We didn't hear anything else from them. Yesterday I got a statement from my insurance from BDR for another 7 days at 1495 per day for dates my daughter was not even there. I have contacted my insurance company letting them know this is fraud but 2 years later we are still dealing with that place.
It's sad they pray on people trying to get their loved ones well

I was in BDR while Margaux was there. Feb Thru May 2012. I was called Pops. Margaux is correct about BDR being a rip off. I was treated unproffesssionally. I saw a councellor ONE time out of 90 days there! Was forced to take Scientology courses. I went through humiliation and witnessed humiliation of other Clients. The head of security (Nation of Islam) kept trying to get me to fight him all the time. The one thing that did help (River of Life Ministries) they tried to take away!! I was threatened with the police when I wanted to walk to church when they didnt want to take me. I was NOT court ordered to be there! Their pamphlet said treatment should not be a generic fits all experience, but we all HAD to take the same Scientology Couses! With Detox down in Battle Creek and BDR it has cost me well over $27,000.00 out of my own pocket! I had NO insurance that would pay for it! All past clients of BDR should ban together and put a stop to this Bullsh**t!
