Company did not pay me for the work I performed. They told me when I was hired that I would be getting paid $7.00 and if I made sales I would get $100.00 for each sale I made. In addition, they also told me if my sales outweighed my hourly wage I would receive the sales instead. However, this was not the case when I got my first paycheck. When I received my check it was not either a hourly wage or the commision money I was promised. Moreover, I had to beg for the check before I was given it. Consequently, when I went to pick up my next check from the company it was for less than the minimum wage in the State of Florida. Furthermore, it did not reflect either the sales I made or the hourly wage I was promised when I first started this job.

This company also had me calling innocent people in Australia to offer them a cruise in Florida to various locations. Knowing that the locations in Florida are still suffering from the effects of the hurricane. The cruise promised them 14 days in Florida. Daytona and the Bahamas were two locations that the company offered to Australians. In addition, they also had a pre-recorded tape tell the Australians that they had won a free vacation. So if they wanted to except the gift just press nine and the would be talking to a customer service representative who would assist them with their free vacation. However, the customer service representative would tell the people congradulations and then ask them for the credit card in order to secure the vacation. Then they would transfer them to Blake Anderson the verification manager or Candace the other vacation manager. If we could not get the credit card information the managers would get the information and give the customers a phony verification number.

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Who did Valerie actually work for? Three companies were named and I know they are not at the same address but only one address was given. Why didn't Valerie specify or is she implying she worked for all Three?

I worked for Best USA Vacations and can say I never had any problems with my pay. It always balanced out. Of course I always checked to be sure my sales were solid. Sounds like Valerie's sales didn't stick. We can't expect to be paid for an incomplete sale, can we?

Regarding the vacation itself, there isn't anything wrong with the Florida destinations. Since the past storms things are really better, newer. I know because I actually visited the destinations offered in the vacation package to better know what the clients were getting. No amount of disgruntled, sour grapes, ex-employee mumbo jumbo can change the facts.

P.S. I am an ex-employee of Best USA Vacations, one who did her job and didn't expect a free ride or take the low road and make up a bunch of junk when things didn't go her way.
