After booking all my guests for my wedding at the Comfort Inn, a family friend recommended the Best Western since she knew the manager - Elias Mata. The manager promised lower rates, even lower if we brought in more than 10 guests. He promised that he would cancel the rooms before billing my credit card.

Not only did the manager at this motel request to be taken out to lunch but also promised the best service and "you wont regret this". Not only did he bill me for the rooms, he resold them to other customers (my family) and then said he never said anything about the billing.

I arrived on my wedding night to a jacuzzi suite that was broken, yellow caution tape circled the room- that was the only one they had so I could not change it. The next afternoon he said there were 3 open rooms that were not sold. He said he was busy and would call me on my cell, he didnt.

I arrived later that night to question the rooms, he said
they were all sold. I asked what about his promise, he said he never said that. He then said "You shouldve kept your guests at the Comfort Inn". His assistant manager said he didnt remember what was said before. He continued to argue with me about "business is business. and even laughed at us.I was billed about $500.

I asked about the reduction in rates due to more customers, he then said I needed 20 rooms not ten. I had 17 rooms booked , some for up to 3 nights a piece. As a result, I was late for my honeymoon flight. I called BW customer service when I got back and filed a formal complaint. 6 weeks passed nothing. I finally called back and they said the case was closed because the hotel and I had contradicting stories- nothing was done.

The hotel manager not only didnt address the issues on the complaint but even lied about me threatening him. I asked BW to request the video surveillance so they can se for themselves and they said they couldnt because the BW in Mission would probably not release it. Best Western has to be the worst at customer service. Not only is Elias Mata a liar , but a man of no honor. I have never met a man so low. I saw a similar complaint in Maxim Magazine, I swore that was my story. All they said is " We could give you a $40 gift certificate at any BW" I told them no. Now I am stuck with not only my wedding expenses but $400 worth of unfair charges. I plan to rent a billboard in the area and place an ad in the paper depicting what I wrote here.

There's a whole lot more details to this story, if anyone is interested email me. Its been over a year since this happened and it still burns my ***hole. If this man would disappear off the face of the Earth, believe me the world would be a better place. This deceiving b*****d should win an academy award for this scam he pulled on us. What nerve of that guy!!!
