BestChoiceDigital.com ripoff does not honor price advertised Brooklyn New York
I found a great price on a Canon A95 camera. In fact it seemed too good, so instead of buying from their website I telephoned in my order. I asked if they had the Canon A95 in stock. Yes, we have plenty, I was told. I asked if they were new and if they had a U.S. warranty. Again I was told yes, they were new and included a U.S warranty and they were not "gray market" items.
So then I deceide to place the order over the phone instead of on the web. Once I gave all of my information I ordered the Canon A95 camera. I was asked if I wanted the extedned warranty. No I said. Then I was asked if I wanted a card for the camera because since it was a 5 megapixel camera the card it came with was just about useless. They suggested a large card to hold more pictures. I declined the card and said, "just send me the camera". I live in NJ and UPS, Mail or Fedex get to me from Brooklyn in one day. Several days had passed and I haden't received my camera. I called Best Choice Digital to find out they have no record of my order!
I was aslo told that they were "oversold" on the Canon A95 camera because it is so popular and we don't expect any more for several weeks. I said when I placed the order the order taker said you have plenty in stock. Now you have none and you don't expect any in the next several weeks that seems odd to me. After reading several other complaints about Best Choice Digital I found out I wasn't alone. If you don't but the insurance or any of their overpriced accessories, you won't get the price they advertise. Stay away from Best Choice Digital! I will be watching my credit card statements for the next several months too!
