Complaint Review: Betta's Services

Bought eBay items after being told about this company. When I went to pickup my stuff the fee, I was quoted changed. When I got finished, the cost was $100 more than I was told. This is a small town rip-off right on the U.S. Border. They take business from Canadians and give them the business. Someone at the Government needs to look at this place.

I called the Better Business office only to be told that the address 1306 Main Street is listed as an address for FRAUD. Oh no I am thinking it was just best we got out of their ok. The two of us are from India and we were scared to complain. The person we talked to was a jerk. Some man that was well, strange.

On the way back to Canada, we went to the U.S. Border to explain what happened. The Border men were very nice then took a full report saying they will investigate. After they helped us out, we were taken to customs in Canada. The Border people said they know about this company and many people upset.

In Canada, they did a report as well but we were scared when they told us the company is known for illegal business. The officer suggested we do not go there again. I am not ever going back so I called my bank to have them help me with my Visa charge. It sounds like the Americans are angry with this company. I hope they shut them down. Do not go there. The place is trash. The people very mean.

Canadians were there picking up many different items. One man talked to us outside telling us that this has been a swindle operated for years. Oh my goodness. The man explained people do business with them because you can make good deals and they have some secret border connections. We told all of this to the U.S. Border people who were upset. They told us to go home and relax it will get fixed. I want people to know about this. Stay Away from Betta's Services they are crooks. TTFN
