Better Business Bureau BBB, B.B.B. declines to report theft by a business owner instead giving company an A+ rating Concord New Hampshire
I recently tried to report a business owner who had taken a cash deposit and then failed to perform the work, or return the deposit. Here is the BBB's response to my complaint.
The issues you described are outside of BBB's scope, so we are unable to include your dispute in the company's BBB Business Review. However, should BBB determine at a later date that a pattern of complaint exists regarding similar allegations that you experienced; BBB may request the company's cooperation in addressing and eliminating the pattern of concern. You will be notified if this occurs, and your complaint will then be included in the company's BBB Business Review.
It is our policy to process only those complaints concerning marketplace issues occurring within the past 12 months. Issues such as criminal allegations, requests for punitive damages, insurance claim disputes, medical malpractice issues, employer/employee disputes, cases already involved in litigation, civil right violations, business-to-business collection issues, complaints asking for punitive damages above out-of-pocket expenses, etc. are not handled by the BBB.
