To Whom It May Concern:

I would like too join the hundreds, if not the thousands of people, who have already filed and posted formal complaints and against the Better Business Bureau on the Bad Business Bureau website.

I have personally experienced the Better Business Bureaus lack of commitment too consumers complaints. Recently, I filed a complaint with the BBB against a Ford Dealership. Three weeks have gone by and nothing!

This is very typical and I have experienced this several times already with both the Cincinnati Better Business Bureau as well as with the Better Business Bureau Headquarters out of Arlington Virginia.

Why do I bother to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau if they don't even acknowledge a complaint? Habit, formality, it is what you are suppose too do. With computers, it really isn't a big deal to print off an extra copy and send it to the BBB.

Do I care if they respond to any complaint? No!

My personal experience with the BBB shows that if they do get involved, they just keep sending company response letters until the consumer gives up. Once the consumer stops responding to BBB follow up letters, the complaint is listed as resolved.

Some of the follow up letters sent by the BBB were already past the deadline they had stipulated. So what is the point?

The reader of this letter should do an experiment. Search your local BBB for complaints against the major cell phone companies just to see what comes up. Then you should go to the BBB's main website and do the same search. Do a search on Sprint PCS my local BBB does not list them and the BBB headquarters says that most of Sprint complaints involve billing errors, that a vast majority of complaints are resolved.

If you have had any experience with any Cell Phone company you would know that the BBB's report is false, inaccurate, and misleading!

That is just one company!

Why do I write to the BBB? If a complaint would ever go to court, then it is nice to be able to say Yes your Honor, I wrote to the Better Business Bureau, I also checked that company out. But just between you and me the Better Business Bureau is not worth the ink, they are not worth the paper, they are not worth an envelope or stamp because the Better Business Bureau is a waste of time!
