Complaint Review: Better eSolution

Do not do business with Better eSolution or with Mohamed H. Arab.  He does not return phone calls, is untruthful, does not keep deadlines and does not keep a regular office; he uses a different company's office to take meetings.

I hired Mohamed Arab as a database programmer for my web based business.  I paid him the first of three installment payments ($1,500).  He promised the job would take 4-6 weeks and we had a written agreement.  He did not keep me updated so I found myself calling him a lot to keep the project on track.  At first, he made me believe he was reliable because he showed me a very rough demo of how the programming worked before I hired him.  But more than 2 months later, he had not delivered anything.  I couldn't get him to return my numerous calls and he kept giving me false promises of when I would be able to see something.  I finally asked my sales associate call him and after much effort, we managed to get a meeting where again, Mohamed falsely promised me and my two associates that he'd send us a link to the work he had allegedly done.  He never sent anything.  To make things worse, my company's investor got frustrated with the delays and called Mohamed himself where again, Mohamed lied and assured him that he would deliver the work by a given deadline.  But again, he never delivered.  So my investor pulled out.  I don't think Mohamed had ever returned a single phone call of mine.  Nor did he return the phone calls of my two company associates.  After I threatened to sue, he agreed in writing to mail my money back, and then changed his mind when I told him I'd need to pick up the check in person. After my threats, he uploaded something to my server which I couldn't decipher and I received no instructions.  I lost over 2 months, I lost $1,500, I lost my investor, and I am left with some "coding" that another programmer told me he cannot make use of. 

Save yourself a headache and stay away.
