Had obtained services of "Better way to move" moving company to move possesions from Ca. to In. They gave me a price of $735.00 to move me( the amount to move min. 1000lbs.) On the moving day they arrived 3 hours late, I had made arrangments for a friend to meet them there due to the fact i had to be in indiana on the day of the move, they arrived late and loaded up my belongings which had already been placed outside for there convenence. I was told they would call me with the exact weight( I had no way 1000lbs) i received no call on Tuesday, I actually placed a call to them which was never returned.

On thursday i received a call at approx 5:30 est. From a employee of the moving company and was told my items were to be delivered tonight. At the time they placed the phone call i was also notified that i owed approx. $1500.00 due to packing materials used. I had everthing packed for them with the exception of 4 pictures and a box spring and mattress.

It should also be said that on there web-site the include packing blankets for free. To keep this a little short phone-calls went back and forth and spoke to 3 employees, the last being "Ron" who described himself as the owner he stated that the items were still in California and i could come pick them up for $3000.00. I asked him "how could they both be in Ca and also being delivered to my house in Indiana all in the same night?" his response " are you saying that they will not be delivered tonight?" You draw your own conclusion to how i responded. At this point I have no clue as to where my belongings are, and how much they are actually going to charge me, i feel they are holding my belongings hostage.

I actually signed NO contract with them, I have a copy of the shipping est. which states $735.00 and as it stands right now they are not giving me my belongings until i sign a contract which states im ok with paying almost $1200.00 for them to deliver my goods. PLEASE HELP!
