BetterHelp shuts down criticism, only publicizes 5-star reviews Internet
They ban anyone who expresses any kind of criticism on their Facebook page so that should give you an idea of what to expect from this company. You pay $45 a week for someone to occasionally message you every few days; I'm pretty sure there's a ton of resources online where you can accomplish the same thing for free. Not to mention that it's impossible to diagnose someone with a mental illness over the internet, so this isn't in any way comparable to seeing a psychologist or a real counselor who knows certain signs to look for and can refer you to a psychiatrist if needed. This is just a blatant money-grab designed to prey on insecure and anxious millennials.
