BetterHelp Ripped off after signing up for a free trial Online Internet
In a moment of family difficulty I signed up for a free trial with BetterHealth councelling.
Not only did the company NOT contact me at all with the provided email address, about 20 days later they charged my credit card (provided for use with the 7 day free trial) for $180 AU dollars.
The service is a total scam, it is extremely difficult to contact the provider from their internet site, and they gave no service at all let alone any service worth $180.
I have reported the company to my bank and we are challenging the fees.
Not happy that such a company would prey on a person in a time of need.

Hi there, hope your day is going well! Our team at BetterHelp wanted to reach out to you and let you know that we are very sorry for the frustration our subscription billing process has caused you, it sounds like perhaps the subscription was not cancelled during the 7 day trial. No problem though, we understand that not everyone wishes to continue working with the counselor through BetterHelp, so if there are any outstanding concerns in relation to this post and the $180 charge, please reach out to our support team via email at contact@betterhelp.com. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and we send our best wishes.
