Complaint Review: Card Services

BEWARE! BEWARE! There is a company called Card Services or First American Solutions, it is a credit card company. It is really a rip off. If you have applied for a credit card they call you making their program sounding great. Telling you there is a zero percent interest rate, not telling you it is a secured credit card. For those not knowing what that is, this means you put the money on the card and use it. It's not as great after all. Once your account has been set up they will issue a print and 800 number. You will receive your packet between 10 to 15 business days. (I know the mail is slow, but it is not that slow) You never receive it, this is why the phone lines are always tied, people are calling wondering where their packet is or how they can be refunded. They are constantly charging you for the membership ($14.95) and card payment ($11.95) fees. If you call to get help you can not ever get through. Sometimes you are transferred to an answering service where you will leave your name and phone number, but no one ever return your calls. Once you actually do get through, they constantly give you a waiting period on when to receive your packet. It NEVER comes in. You have to go through red tape to get your money back, which is a long process of 30 to 45 business days because of the high call volume.
