Beware Con Man ebay user dmatt89 ; d**k Mattleson of HOLCOMB COMMUNICATION CO
I was a bidder for ebay's seller d**k Mattleson's (ebay user Dmatt89) ebay auction of suits, shirts, and ties.
After the auction ended he contacted me and offered a discount for offline multiple purchases.
I made the purchases and received shabby, dirty, ill fitting suits and shirts in return.
I returned the suits and he refused to give me a refund because they were returned a day outside his 5 day return policy. He shipped other replacement merchandise which was equally shabby and ill fitting which I returned the next day but did not insure.
He claims he did not receive the returns. I have the receipt that I returned a package to 80 Tremont St. Hartford Connecticut 06105 but he will not admit he received the returns so I am out $440 because of this.
Since then, I have been contacted by other ebay users who he has ripped off with the same scams. His lies are old, and they are consistent.
He claims to have a corporate operation with many tailors and world wide customer base but he is obviously some con man running his operation out of a closet.
