PMB#113 After messing with this frustrating little system, and in trying to adjust my bids (after which your keywords disappear and you have to start over, and over, and over. . . never getting anything done), I decide it's time to ask for tech help. So, I email brainfox, and my email bounces back undeliverable real fast. OK, I go to the autoresponder junk Brainfox sends out and do a reply message to get to them. Big news, it's also undeliverable. So, it's not like I am typing their address wrong. So, I continue to be a patsy and investigate them further, and come up with their address on Saraha in Las Vegas, an area I am all too familiar with. All of Brainfox's phone numbers they have listed are, you guessed it, DISCONNECTED. I am not wasting stamps just to have that mail come back undeliverable also, right?
I made this purchase on my American Express card, and for God sakes, I had the sense to use a stored value card. For those of you who don't know, these cards have limited liability, just like cash. I don't want to add any more money to this particular AMEX card, as I have concerns that Brainfox might just suck off some more, given the chance. I'm going to destroy that particular AMEX stored value card AS SOON AS I GET MY @^#(!@** REFUND. (It takes a lot to make me this angry. I have better things to do.) So I reported this to American Express over 5 weeks ago, and I'm still screwed. But AMEX did give me this: Brainfox wasn't listed as the party that took the $50. Brainfox is owned, apparently, by Cycle Corp. AMEX gave me Cycle Corp's phone number.
Guess what? Cycle Corp's phone is also DISCONNECTED! You would think with my $50 they could pay their (*#$*( phone bill, huh? What's a consumer to do? I pulled up Internic records to see just who is behind Cycle Corp and Brainfox. Internic records indicate Cycle Corp is owned by NETWORK SOLUTIONS. I dug up about 12+ phone numbers for Network Solutions. After calling half of them, and no one wanted to discuss it, and had a voice like "What, again???", I called Network Solutions office (in Canada?!) There, I filed an official report. It is listed as Service Request BEI4N, although I am relying on a phone interview with someone with a very heavy (not Canadian) accent to file it properly. After many autoresponders (they can shove that system right now), I finally get the kiss off listed as "RE: NIC 010322.6009", which was coupled with RE NIC 010315.6c53, from the kind Network Solutions "registrars" Kari P, Tanyika S, and Dimitrios M. (What is this, Alcoholics Anonymous, or a legit business?) Network Solutions brushes me off as they weren't the ones who took the $50 directly, so d**k me, to be blunt. Well, d**k NETWORK SOLUTIONS. NETWORK SOLUTIONS IS SHOWN AS OWNING CYCLE CORP, WHICH INTERNIC AND AMERICAN EXPRESS SHOW AS OWNING BRAINFOX. BRAINFOX TOOK MY $50, LURING ME WITH A 500% SIGN-UP BONUS, WHICH MAKES IT $300, NOT TO MENTION MY TIME, MY COST OF FAXING THEM THE INFO THEY CLAIMED THEY NEEDED BUT THAT THEY USED TO TEMPORARILY BEAT ME WITH, ETC., PHONE BILLS TO TRACK THEM DOWN, ETC. I WANT MY $50, PLUS THE 500%=ANOTHER $250, TOTAL OF $300, EITHER PUT BACK ON THE AMEX CARD, OR SENT TO MY PO BOX, SO I CAN PROMOTE MY BUSINESS, WHICH IS ALL I TRIED TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE. THEY ALSO SHOULD PAY ME NUISSANCE FEES FOR THE FAX, PHONE, RUNAROUNDS, ETC ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CYCLE CORP, BRAINFOX.COM, OR BRAINFOX MEDIA SERVICES, UNLESS YOU ARE ALREADY BACKED UP WITH YOUR PANTIES AROUND YOUR ANKLES. AND REMEMBER, NETWORK SOLUTIONS IS SHOWN TO OWN ALL THESE BUST-OUT OPERATIONS, FROM ACROSS THE BORDER. WELCOME TO AMERICA! Click here to read other Rip Off Reports on Network Solutions
