Complaint Review: Recreational Factory Warehouse

In May 2001 we purchased a pool from Recreational Factory Warehouse in Macon, Georgia. We paid an additional $800 to have it installed. Not even a month later there was more grass growing in the pool than around it, we were told that it was not their problem. Then a month or so later the pump went out on it. When I tried to see if there was any warranty information on the pump, I found out that they had not even given us the correct pump. We paid for a 2.5 hp pump and they installed a 1.5 hp pump.

We have been told that they would try and work things out with us and that they knew they were having problems with the installation crew. Since then, I have heard nothing else from them. If and when they decide to do something, summer will be over and I would have wasted almost $4000 on something we couldn't even enjoy.

I have spent a lot of money on chemicals trying to keep it from turning green from all the grass that is in it. So please think twice before you buy a pool from this company.
