Smart moving charged my credit card $85 for services NOT PROVIDED(their website says they do not require a deposit). I had scheduled an appointment for unloading services of 26 Foot truck only. The company or their sub-contractors did a NO-CALL, NO- SHOW, we waited 2- 3 1/2 hours for the movers, called multiple times without any callbacks or anyone showing. Had anyone even bother to come to our apartment's main office, they would have seen the bright YELLOW 26 FOOT PENSKE truck.

We left a message on the smart moving labor number that no one had called or showed and my credit card should not be charged since we had to find other arrangements (very difficult on Labor Day weekend). Their lack of services actually cost me more money since I had to pay a local KOA to park our truck overnight (then too late to unpack our truck after waiting about 3 1/2 hours).

The $85 charge on my credit card posted 3 days later under ONE STOP MOVER located in ARIZONA (not even the same name of the company that I hired originally). The number associated with the charge is NOT EVEN IN SERVICE 866-731-2933. I tried calling the numbers listed on smartmovinglabor.com multiple times without any callbacks only to learn that one of their phone numbers 866-390-2474 or 704-302-1386 is forwarding to a gentleman who LIVES IN FLORIDA and DOESN'T EVEN KNOW THE NAME OF THE COMPANY. He just called to let me know that I had been calling the wrong number is why I found out.

I also sent multiple emails to questions@smartmovinglabor.com to which Anthony Rogers responded to only in email. He stated once that he would call me and never did. He said originally the he was told by the local movers that they had completed the job is why my credit card was charged to which I replied they did not & I had to find other means of unloading the truck. Eventually, he said that he would refund my money and it's been over a week later and NO REFUND.

I emailed them back and asked where is my refund, and he said that my bank hadn't processed it yet. I waited for a week after he said it was refunded and my bank said that I had NO CREDITS or REFUNDS PENDING on my account.

FYI, if you look on the website for ONE STOP MOVER, there is actually no address listed anywhere on the website. I just know it's located in Dewey because of google.com

I have filed a complaint with Charlotte, NC BBB and plan to file a complaint with the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT for INTERNET CRIME COMPLAINT CENTER if this matter is not resolved to my satisfaction.

BEWARE OF THESE COMPANIES and any possible associates.
