Ad offers "Free" disc and shipping for $1.97. They hide the facts in lengthy repetatively-termed "terms and conditions." Most people do not understand or read these lengthy legal documents - and therby do not realize they are opting in for a membership at $39.95 per month - the offeror knows this and did it this way to "shadow" its real offer. When you find the charge on your bank statement, go to your bank branch and dispute it (if that is your intent); then call the company at 1-866-407-1021 and cancel, asking for a credit of the denied charge. You'll be talking to someone in India, Srilanka, or on Mars; but "git-er-done!" I did so and they claimed they would refund the charge and I could keep the disc.

I related they said they would refund the money they took from me and they did. They sent me two emails, one x-ing my membership and one telling me they would credit back my account.

I received two emails from Bidfuel: one telling me that I would receive a credit to my account in 10 to 14 days - of course they took it from my account immediately so they get to use my money for that period of time to invest or rollover. Second they did state they cancelled my membership. When I contacted them, I accused them of "fraudulently attempting to hide the true facts of their offer," while their agent responded with all sorts of excuses to defray the fault. But they surely know it is not legal to tip the balance in favor of themselves while not trluy informing the subscriber-buyer. I will re-update when I see the credit on my statement.
