bidmacs online auction site which took $149.99 from my credit card for bidding points, promised to return it, but never did! Internet
I signed up for this online auction site in Nov '10 without really understanding what was involved (I'm 81).After bidding on 1 item the first day and using up 82 of the 250 points, I phoned and asked to have my account closed and the unused points refunded to my credit card. I was told that would be done. I have emailed and phoned many times with the same promise, but no results - see below.

I loged on to their website after reviewing an article on online auction. Once logged ino their site, they ask for credit card information to join the membership. Not clear on the site, they charged 149 to my credit, I sensed that something wrong, I never place bid and call them for refund. First time they told me their system was down and asked me call back next day. second time I called, they promised me to credit back to my credit card. I saw no credit in my credit card account and called them back., They said it will take 15-30 days. It should be in soon.. Then I called it was message. And later it was disconnected. Now the web site is not even exist.
