I won 2 auctions and then after a week had no word from the company as an eta for shipping the items that I had purchased. When trying to contact the phone number listed on their website I got no answer, so I tried contacting them via email and this is what happened.

First email me to Bidstick.com

I was reading your FAQs and I notice that it said that you place your orders 6 to 8 weeks after you have received my money.  So what you are saying is that it will take over 2 months before I see the products that I have ordered? Please let me know if this is correct. I would like to understand you shipping policy a little better. I have won 2 items as of a week ago tomorrow and I was just wondering how long it will be before we receive them. I was planning on trying to win another item that would be a birthday gift for someone, but if shipping really is over 2 months then I wont purchase from the site anymore.

Their reply:

Do To Internet Credit Card Fraud The Shipping Is  6-8 Weeks, It Takes About 6 weeks For The Bank To Notify Us If A Stolen Credit Card Has Been Used, Thats why the shipping is that long

My response:
I understand that I use to own a business myself. Is shipping any different if a person pays via paypal thru their checking account like I have? I pay for most of my purchases that way due to credit fraud and companies not delivering with the product

Their reply:

Even With PayPal It Makes No Difference, We Are Notified The Same Way In At Least 6 Weeks After The Fact, So This Is the Only Way We Can Protect Ourselves

There is no indication of blackmail or wrongdoing on BidsTicks part.

Pepper, I read your report and there seems to be some holes in it. For one thing, they fully explained how their shipping works through email and on the FAQ page. Then they refunded your money when that didnt work for you. How can they blackmail somebody for items that were no longer yours because you were refunded the money for said items. Another thing, if pennyauctionwatch refuses to delete the comments you made, then why couldn't you just post some comments stating how bidstick rectified the situation. So, it seems to me there can be no one to  blame but yourself. I mean if I had a deadline when I needed a won item, I think I would have checked into their shipping methods before bidding on an item. It would have saved you a lot of trouble.
