Complaint Review: Bidz

Hi my recent experience with them is this: I bought a Auguste Galan watch from them supposedly the msrp was 1200$. This was 7 months ago and I have since decided to sell the watch as I needed some cash. I had a good offer on craigslist but seeing as it was craigslist I was to meet at a jeweler and verify MSRP or a value to the watch. before this happened I went to the jeweler alone and guess what ... he never heard of them ....

so I called the manufacturer of the watch and they said that there are a limited amount of dealers mainly bidz and world of watches and the sale price is 289$ wich is NO WHERE NEAR 1200$ they fool you into a false sense of security by offering you the option of gettin a certificate verifying the value of the item you buy knowing that most people wont pay 30$ to get it.

So in short i bought a watch for 200$ thinking I was getting a deal and in fact I was getting scammed. people do your research on the items before you buy them. In my naive state i was taken advantage of dont let it happen to you they sell low end CRAP and say its worth way more than it is only a FEW items are actually worth what they say its worth BUYER BEWARE
