Complaint Review: BIG JOES AUTO AIR MUFFLER & BRAKE CITY

NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH BIG JOES IN TAMPA, here's why....

My name is Reed and I took my vehical to a muffler shop to have some after market mufflers put on for a nice rumble sound. On 6/7/2007 one of the pipes came loose so I went back to have the pipe fixed. They told me that there would be no charge and no ticket since its just a spot weld. So I went on my way and drove onto the highway.

It was then the suspension on my vehical dropped to the ground and all the service lights came on. I had the vehical towed to the dealership, where they found out the weld job that ripoff JOE did melted through the rubber suspension air lines, causing the car to drop onto the axles which then cut through a wiring cable to the computers.

I went down to Joe's to tell them what happened and they started laughing about it, apparently they thought it was funny that it cost me over 800$ to have the car fixed. Originally they promised to have the situation resolved by 6-20-07, now they refuse to return my calls.

I have called the company several times to talk to the owner Joseph Torregiante, he refuses to return my calls. Beware if you do business with these guys, they will give you the run around and destroy your car.
