In January I was at Big Lots Mentor, Ohio. I had selected my purchase and was checking out. The prices rang different than the sticker price. When I questioned the cashier she called SCOTT whom decided that the prices of the two same idems that rang differently I would have to pay the higher pice for both and not the price that originally rang up which was cheaper one one.

Phil one of the managers in Menotr called me after I complained to the corporate office @ 614-278-8500 by phone.
The addresss is Big Lots Corp., 300 Phillipi Road, Columbus, OH 43228.

Phil told me when I return stop at the customer service desk and there would be a 20% coupon for me just ask anyone working there.

Well, on 2/22/08 wouldn't you know I tried to secure the 20% off certificate.
There was SCOTT again, clueless, no knowledege and said PHIL didn't tell him.

So now I have wasted my gas for the 2nd time and my precious time to hear this racist red face look like KKK employee disgrace me once again.

I have burned my gas for the last time at this racist store of rejected stock.

When other merchant employees mess up with a customer they atleast offer a gift card or a discount but they also mail it to the customer. They don't make them waste gasoline for NOTHING.

I have worked at big lots for over a year and the two different prices for the same item happens occasionally because we receive the item one time around for one price then the prices changes and they send more with the new price but don;t send anything to managers about changing the prices. Generally managers will give it to you for the lower price as long as the lower price item remains in the store but if you ever notice it and you want more than one look dig around for another marked the lower price then they cannot try and make you pay the higher price because the only one scanned were at the lower price
