Big O Tires $15 dollar repair turns into $85 Bedford Indiana
Took tire to have it plugged because it was punctured by a peice of metal. Only after my tire was removed from the rim did they inform me it was unrepairable. Apparently they patch tires from the inside and do not plug them at all. I am thinking I could just go to Walmart and buy a plug kit and plug it myself. However the tire is no longer on the rim and they inform me, by law, they cannot put the tire back on the rim because the tire is bad.
How convient for them cause now I have little choice but to buy their $85 tire for a job that I originally thought was going to be a quick fix of $15. They are a big name looking to make the most profit out of any situsation. If you have a local tire shop then that should be your first choice as the local shops tend to take care of the local clients for repeat business.
