I ordered a Yamaha yht-750, on nov. 19th, and Big On Digi charged my credit card on nov. 22nd. I received an email confirmation of my order, with the order #, the same day.

On dec. 13th, I called the company to ask why I had not received a tracking #, and was told that just that morning the customer service dept. received a memo stating that yamaha was no longer sending them the home theater system I ordered.

The customer service rep I talked to also added that for $20.00 more I could upgrade to the yht-755, and this time he would guarantee delivery by dec. 21st at the latest. Since this system was not available to me locally, I agreed to the upgrade [mainly out of desperation].

On dec. 17th, I called the company because this time I didn't even receive an order confirmation, and was told that neither system was in stock, but that if I wanted to go with a different system, a Christmas delivery was not out of question.

At this point, I cancelled my order and informed my credit card co. to expect a credit from these people. I will have to wait to see if the credit materializes. I also went to their web site one more time to see if they had removed the two out of stock items from their inventory.

Not only are they still there, there is no info on availability, which they do include on other items. Incidentally, while trying to find a different way to contact Big On Digital, I came accross this web site and was quite dismayed at the number of complaints already lodged against them.

In the future, I think I'll come here before I do any more "big ticket" item ordering!
