Complaint Review: Big Schott Management

WHERE TO START, FIRST OFF I AM 20 YEARS OF AGE, AND UNEMPLOYED, SO I WAS BROWSING WWW.CRAIGSLIST.COM AND CAME ACROSS AN AD FOR A "MANAGEMENT POSITION.

ON 9/13/10 SO I CALLED THE NUMBER LISTED ON THE WEBSITE AND THE LADY "NICOLE" GAVE ME AND INTERVIEW TIME FOR TWO HOURS LATER. FOUND THAT ODD. BUT I STILL WENT. ONCE THERE, IT WAS A TINY SPACE ON 4617 SANFORD ST SUITE B RIGHT ABOVE THE BAR AND GRILLE. ONCE INSIDE THEY HAD A 'RECEPTIONIST' AND HORRIBLY LOUD MUSIC, SHE ASKED ME TO FILL OUT AN "APPLICATION" ONCE DONE I TURNED IT IN TO HER AND SHE TOLD ME TO GRAB A MAGAZINE AND SOMEONE WOULD BE WITH ME SHORTLY.

AS I WAS LOOKING AROUND I SAW THE "BBB" BLUE STICKER ON THERE WINDOW SO I SAID TO MY SELF OK CALM DOWN THIS IS LEGIT. 20 MINUTES LATER AND MAN BY THE NAME OF ALEX HERNANDEZ GREETED ME, ONCE IN HIS OFFICE HE TOLD me that this company had been going strong for 34 years and had over 75 locations nationwide. The true tip off was the fact that he said this job was "economy proof". When I asked him what this company managed, he said I would hear more about it in my second interview. 

HE TOLD ME THAT I WAS BE MANAGING OVER 15-20 PEOPLE A DAY AND HIRING AND FIRING PEOPLE IF NEED BE. HE ASKED ME A FEW MY QUESTIONS, SAID HE LOVED MY SMILE AND THEN WROTE HIS NAME AND NUMBER ON A STICKY NOTE AND TOLD ME TO CALL HIM IN AN HOUR AND A HALF TO SEE IF I HAVE BEEN 'SELECTED' FOR A 2ND INTERVIEW.. SO I DID CALL BACK, ASKED FOR HIM AND THE "RECEPTIONIST" SAID OH I CAN HELP YOU, I SAID I AM CALLING ON MY APPLICATION SHE ASKED FOR MY NAME AND I GAVE IT TO HER ..

SHE RUFFLED THROUGH SOME PAPERS AND SAID "CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE BEEN SELECTED TO COME IN FOR A 2ND INTERVIEW, CAN YOU COME IN 9/16/10 AT 12 O'CLOCK DRESS PROFESSIONAL" I SAID OK GREAT THANKS. I WAS SO HAPPY I THOUGHT FINALLY I WOULD CATCH A BREAK, BUT THEN I DECIDED TO DO WHAT MY MOMMA ALWAYYYYYS TAUGHT ME AND THAT IS "DO SOME RESEARCH" SO I DID AND I CAME ACROSS HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS SAYING THAT IN THE END AFTER YOUR SECOND INTERVIEW ITS NOTHING BUT A PEDDLERS JOB THAT ALL YU DO IS GO TO DIFFERENT STORES AND LOITERING THERE TO SELL SOME TYPE OF PERFUME.

THIS IS A SCAM! CLAIMING TO B  [[BBB]]  one complaint said At orientation we were told that there was going to be a contest to see who could sell more perfume to family and friends and the jackpot was $1000. We were given a sales pamphlet with Scentura Creations on the front. The problem was we had to sell with no product but get the money that day, bring it back to them and then receive the product.

 That was when I became very suspicious and started researching and found other complaints like this one. But being down on my luck with no other job now, I decided to go back today and give it a chance. We were told to report to 559 Holmes Ave, Terrytown, LA today because the office on Sanford St was being fumigated.

I turned in $100 for 5 bottles of this rendition perfume but they never gave me the product. Now the product won't be in until Thursday. I confronted Alexis about this and of course he sugar-coated it and of course I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. After another hour we were paired with individuals who were called "managers in training".

They were going to take us out and show us about marketing. The person I was paired with didn't have a car, so I had to drive and we drove to a Winn Dixie parking lot and got out. I asked what we were doing and before he told me he began walking up to individuals, harassing them to buy this rendition perfume. That was it for me. I told him to get back in the car and I was heading back to this office. I AM SOOOO GLAD I READ THIS. :'( IM IN TEARS BECAUSE I AM SOOO MAD. I CANT BELIEVE THEY DO THIS TO PEOPLE
