BigRedWire Theft of client deposit, threatening of client worldwide Delaware

I got referred by a "friend" (probably who was paid by commission) to create an account on BigRedWire (formerly Northgate Communications). Their website claims how reasonable they are and how trustworthy they are etc, and would take my creditcard number only to check it and not charge it.

However, their fine lines of registration agreement states they would debit a deposit and that would only be refundable after a year.

Within the year I could not get my account working, and eventually after waiting for a year I requested to have my account cancelled and deposit refunded back. Their rude customer service staff was not responsive and held my deposit hostage. Later they changed their terms of service to say that the deposit will not be refunded.
